Privacy notice

What this site stores, which cookies it sets, and which outside services the pages contact.

This notice covers venfriend.com. Every cookie, record and outside service named here comes from this site's own code, so it describes what the site actually does.

Effective October 30, 2026.

Who we are

Venfriend runs this website. Our web developer, AppWT Web & AI Solutions, builds and maintains the site for us and can access its server to keep it working.

To reach us about anything in this notice, send a message through the contact form.

What we collect when you place an order

We use this information to confirm, prepare and hand over your order. We do not use it for advertising, and placing an order does not add you to any mailing list.

What we collect when you create an account

Each sign-in attempt is recorded with the email address used and the IP address it came from. This lets the site slow down anyone trying to guess passwords.

Account actions, such as signing in or updating your details, are written to an activity log that includes the IP address. We use it to investigate problems and misuse.

What we collect when you send a message

How order and message notices reach us

When you send an order or a message, the site emails a notice with your details to our store inbox. Postmark, an email delivery service, carries that notice to us.

The site itself does not send automatic email to you. We contact you directly to confirm an order or answer a message.

Payment card details

We collect none. Nothing is charged on this website, so it never asks for, receives or stores a card number or any other payment details. You pay in person at pickup.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets three cookies. Only the first two are needed for the site to work.

VFSESS: needed, lasts until you close your browser
The session cookie. It holds your order in progress, your sign-in state and a security token that protects the site's forms. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, so scripts on the page cannot read it.
appwt_cookie_consent: needed, lasts 180 days
Remembers your choice on the cookie banner, so the banner does not ask again on every page. It stores two settings: necessary, which is always on, and analytics, which is on or off.
googtrans: optional, lasts until you close your browser
Set only if you pick a language in the translate panel. It tells Google Translate which language to show. If you never pick a language, it is never set.

The cookie banner asks whether we may measure how people use the pages. This site runs no analytics or measurement tool today, so your answer changes nothing beyond the stored choice. If that changes, we will update this notice to name the tool.

The accessibility tool saves your display choices in your browser's local storage under the name ada-settings. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us, and clearing your site data removes it.

Outside services this site contacts

This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers, no social media plugins and no chat widget. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep order, account and message records so we can answer questions about past orders and messages. The site does not delete these records on a fixed schedule, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

Send any request through the contact form. If we need to keep a record, such as an order that is still open, we will tell you which record and why.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
